Nearly every year I make my way to the Elkhart County Fair in Indiana—a tradition that’s been going strong since 1851 and now ranks as one of the largest county fairs in the country.

This print comes from a photo I took in the horse barn with the cult-classic Minolta 70-210mm f/4 “Beercan” lens, released in 1985 as part of Minolta’s groundbreaking Maxxum 7000 autofocus system

The Beercan feels like a big metal thermos in your hands but makes some good magic in an Indiana Horse Barn.
