In one day she had a car break down on the side of the road, almost lost her wedding ring in the grass, had to tell our 4 yr old son his pet fish died, worked a full day as a social worker doing home visits, and took care of 2 kids. Pretty typical day for her. Love this pic taken during a 5 second moment together in that crazy Nashville sunset.

Blood Moon
I sat out on the docks of Old Hickory Lake waiting for the blood moon to come out. I instead got a sky full of clouds rolling in. I didn't have the right kind of lens for what I had in my head anyway so I just experimented with old filters when the moon poked out.

Dean Owens by the Lake
My Scottish friend Dean Owens was over in the US for the Americana Days here in Nashville. I have loved Dean's music for a while now. He used one of my photographs for his amazing "Into The Sea" album cover.
If you haven't gotten this record, than you should. I took the cover photo in the Caribbean Sea on vacation with my wife Lisa.
So while Dean was at my house for the day I went out with my old Kodak camera and shot some pics of him on Old Hickory Lake. They turned out to be pretty wild. lots of cool light flares reflecting into the viewfinder from the water and high sun.
