Rest in Peace John Prine
To John Prine's Family, and everyone at Oh Boy Records that mean so much to me, all the love in the world right now! John was the coolest person I ever met. My favorite musical moment of my life was hanging out watching him play pool and he pulled out a guitar and played a new song he had just written called Egg & Daughter Nite. It felt like the most important moment happening in the world right there in that room. He was a brilliant, funny, & just such a great dude. We were so lucky to make 9 music videos for John. When we made the new Orphan Brigade album he was our Captain and he sang a verse for us! The last time I saw John I handed him a copy of the album on cassette. Below is my favorite photo I ever took of John Prine when we were doing promo vids for his song “When I Get To Heaven.” I want to thank John and Fiona for “more blessings than one man can stand.” Rest in Peace John Prine
