A year ago in Northern Ireland we went to Slemish Mountain and wrote "St.Patrick On Slemish Mountain" in tribute to the man himself. Legend says following his capture and being brought to Ireland as a slave, Patrick worked as a shepherd at Slemish Mountain from age16 to 22. There he turned to frequent prayer as his only consolation in his loneliness. In a vision he was encouraged to escape and return home. We wrote and recorded a demo of the song on the mountain and then took it back to the ancient church on the sea to record it with the rest of the album in Northern Ireland.
