I grew up along Drakes Creek, spending my days fishing cow ponds and restoring old MGB roadsters. When the telephone rang, someone would answer with a single word: “Rapids.”

The artwork features a strange red beast with pale blue claws and a winged tail, carefully restored from an antique medieval illustration. It reminds me of a mangy old bobcat that once prowled Rapids Road.
